Uma Essência à base de Absoluto de Cistus Labdanum, entrelaçada com notas balsâmicas de Resina de Pinho e Absoluto de Bálsamo de Abeto. Resina preciosa obtida do Cisto, Cistus Labdanum, também conhecido como Rosa das Rochas, um arbusto selvagem que cresce nas margens áridas e rochosas do Mediterrâneo, reconhecível pelas suas folhas alongadas perenes e delicadas flores brancas e rosa. Para se proteger do calor e dos raios solares, secreta o Ládano: uma oleorresina viscosa que cobre as folhas e raminhos, com um odor rico, complexo e sedutor. Curiosidade: a resina bruta é extraída fervendo folhas e raminhos; depois, o Absoluto obtém-se por extração com solvente, enquanto o Óleo Essencial é obtido por destilação a vapor. Na antiguidade, o Ládano era recolhido penteando as barbas e patas das cabras e ovelhas que pastavam nos arbustos de Cisto; hoje, é o ingrediente principal usado para recriar o perfume do Âmbar.
